How do you protect 1,951 miles of land?
Well the United States has proved that it's not very possible. no matter how many guards they have lined up, no matter how high the walls are, somone will always think of a way around everything.
I understand the point in guarding our nations borders.
We need to keep the people that live there over there and keep our people over here. If people from mexico were always allowed to comeover us americans would lose all of our jobs and the nation would become even worse off.
We would become a second Mexico.
 If we really don't want people in the United States from Mexico then there is alot more that the United Stes is going to have to do.
Our struggle with maintaining the border just shows our lack of commitment on the subject. Everony makes such a big deal about it, but when it comes time to actually do something about it, nothing is done.
If border control was important, things would be done to stop it.

Stop tripping on my trigger.

Gun control is a major controversal issue and has been for quite some time. Why should law abidding citizens be put through burdens just because some people abuse their right. The governement has no right to put laws prohibiting a person from carrying a weapon for protection or hunting. Gun's and violence are usually linked to each other, but only because people use and abuse the law. It's almost become such a hard topic to dicuss because people arent willing to hear the other side that the arguement has become worn out. I think the governemt should work on trying to make a special hunting or protecting gun that can still injure the thing it's shot at but cannot kill it, yes that would make it harder for hunters, but that just means that the hunters would actually have to become really good at tracking down the deer uinstead of camping out and shooting the deer without even giving the deer a fighting chance. This idea would help the deer population and would give hunters more experience. The chance of this happening are slim to none, but the option is still available if the government really wanted to stop guns from remaining an issue. Big guns should be illegal for individual sale, and shouldnt be released beyond for the people in the army, noone but them should need any guns like that.
